Public Website Transformation
SEFCU, a New York State capital region credit union, isn’t like other credit unions. Their offerings far exceed those of a traditional bank, and their impact on the community they serve defines them.

Their existing public website and CMS were dated and difficult to navigate, and their brand guidelines were optimized for print, but not the digital world. Additionally, they had no public website mobile experience.

Our job at IBM was to transform the public SEFCU.com to be a user-centric, unique, responsive web experience, based on life events and how SEFCU can help, all in an effort to shift members to self service, increase new customer acquisition, and increase cross-sell.

The new SEFCU.com delivers a differentiated, responsive user experience that informs new customers, establishes loyalty among existing members, and promotes relevant products to enable financial wellbeing.
